This plant is deciduous,  it drapes itself in golden yellow catkins in february and march, leading way to light green twisted leaves. They're partial to full or partial shade and well drained fertile soil. They are slow growing meaning they need to be trimmed back less often. The distorted shapes of the branches give a striking feature in any garden.
